These terms cover your use of dasun.org. They are short because the site is simple: it tells the story of two foundations and gives you a way to reach us. Using the site means you accept these terms.
Dasun (dasun.org) presents the work of two organisations founded and funded personally by their founder: Daayada, for children’s education, and Green Hearts, for reforestation. The site is informational; it does not solicit donations, sell products or process payments.
You may browse, link to and share this site freely. You agree not to misuse it: no attempts to break, overload or interfere with it, no scraping of personal information, and no use of the site for anything unlawful.
The text, illustrations and design of this site belong to Dasun unless stated otherwise. You may quote or share excerpts with attribution. Please do not present our material as your own or use it to imply an endorsement we have not given.
Stories and images of children and communities are shared with consent and in trust. You may not reuse photographs of identifiable people from this site without our written permission.
We link to daayada.org and greenhearts.foundation, and occasionally to other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Daayada and Green Hearts are funded by their founder, not by public donations. If you offer your time after contacting us, the details of a planting day or a school visit are agreed between us at the time; nothing on this site constitutes a solicitation or a contract by itself.
We keep the site accurate and current to the best of our ability, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Figures and plans may change as the work on the ground changes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dasun is not liable for losses arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
